The HZ hard chrome traveller from R+F has everything you need for long service lives at extremely high take-up speeds. Wear protection where it is needed. A hard chrome coating in the thread passage. The rest of the traveller has the optimal properties, for which R+F is known.

Aggressive fibres place extreme stresses on the thread passage and thus lead to premature wear of the traveller. With the partial hard chrome coating of just the head of the HZ hard chrome traveller, long traveller service lives can still be achieved when processing aggressive fibres. The special R+F wire alloy always ensures gentle handling of the ring surface.

HZ hard chrome travellers are characterised by

Gentle, wear-resistant thread passage
Long traveller service lives, even with aggressive fibres
Low ring stress in the traveller system
Corrosion protection

In addition, the matte hard chrome ‘BlackSpeed’ is also offered. Due to the peach coloured skin effect, the friction at the thread passage of the traveller is reduced, the thread stress is reduced and the yarn quality is improved.
